Educational Criteria:

  1. Educational Qualification: Village Assistant must have passed the Tamil Nadu Government Examinations Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) with Tamil as a subject. Candidates can apply for this post whether they have passed or failed the 10th standard. Candidates must submit the 10th standard mark sheet.
  2. Candidates applying for the post of Village Assistant must belong to the same taluk. Must be able to read and write in Tamil without any errors. Applicants must be from the concerned taluk and permanently residing in the same taluk. Applicants from the village where the vacancy is announced will be given priority for the post in that area. Applicants must be able to drive a bicycle or a two-wheeler.

Age Limit for Village Assistant Job:

  • Age Limit (UR Candidate): Minimum Age 21 to Maximum Age 32.
  • Age Limit (BC/MBC/SC/SCA/ST Candidate): Minimum Age 21 to Maximum Age 37.
