Educational Qualification:
- Staff Nurse (Rural/Urban) – Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or B.Sc., Nursing from the institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council
- Pharmacist (Rural/Urban) – A Diploma in Pharmacy / Bachelor of pharmacy 2 Must have registered with Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council and must keep the Registration alive by renewing it regularly every year
- Lab Technician (Grade II) – A Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology course (two years duration) conducted by the King Institute of Preventive Medicine or from any other institution recognized by the Government of Tamil nadu
- Audiologist (Audiologist & Speech Therapists) – B.Sc. Audiologist / 1. Must have passed HSC with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology with any one of the related subjects. 2. Must have passed a one-year certificate course in Audiometry from Government Medical Institutions under the control of the DME or in any other institution recognized by the State or Central Government
- Audiometrician/ Audiometric Assistant – Technical person with 1 year Diploma in Hearing, Language and speech (DHLS) from a RCI recognized institute
- Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologist – A Bachelor in Audiology & Speech language Pathology/B.S.C (Speech and hearing) from RCI recognized institute
- Lab Technician (Grade III)– Must have passed +2 Examination. ii) Must possess, Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology Course (One year duration) undergone in any institution recognized by the Director of Medical Education and iii) Must have a good physique, good vision and capacity to do outdoor work
- Multi Purpose Health Worker (Health Inspector – Grade II) – Must have passed plus two with Biology or Botany and Zoology. Must have passed Tamil language as a subject in SSLC level.
- Physiotherapist– Bachelor’s Degree in physiotherapist (BPT) Desirable: At least 2 years experience of working in a Hospital
- Counsellor – Master/bachelor’s degree in social work/public administration/ psychology/Sociology/Home Science/ Hospital & Health Management
- OT Technician– 3 month OT Technician course from recognised university/institution
