BSF Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Constables (Plumber, Painter, Electrician, Constable (Pump Operator), Constable (Upholster), and Constable (Carpenter): (a) Completion of the 10th grade or its equivalent from a recognized board: (b) (i) Two years of certificate programs in the trade or a related trade from Industrial Training Institute (ITI); or (ii) One year of certificate programs in the trade from Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or a government-affiliated Vocational Institute with at least one year of trade experience
- Constables (Cobbler, Barber, Sweeper, Tailor, Washer Man, and Khoji/Syce) must: (a) have completed matriculation (10th grade) or its equivalent from an accredited board; (b) be skilled in their respective trades; and (c) meet the requirements for their respective trades as determined by the recruitment board.
- Constable (Cook), Constable (Water Carrier), and Constable (Waiter): (a) Completion of a recognized board’s matriculation or its equivalent: (b) A food production or kitchen course at the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) level offered by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) or by institutions approved by the NSDC
